Arrival by tram and bus
The nearest stop “St. Jakob” of tram line 14 and bus line 36 is directly in front of the St. Jakobshalle. From there, walk 200m in the direction of Gartenbad St. Jakob. The main entrance is directly opposite the Gartenbad.

Arrival by train
The nearest train stations are: “Basel SBB” (Switzerland) and Badischer Bahnhof (Germany).
Route from SBB station to St. Jakobshalle Basel:
By tram line 8, 10 or 11 one stop to “Aeschenplatz”, then by tram line 14 to “St. Jakob” (journey time approx. 20 minutes).
Route from Badischer Bahnhof to St. Jakobshalle Basel:
by bus line 36 (stop in front of McDonalds) to St. Jakob (journey time approx. 15 minutes).
Arrival by car
from Lucerne, Berne, Zurich
Take the A2 motorway in the direction of “Basel”. You will pass through the “Schweizerhalle” gallery. Attention: Danger of backwater! Follow the signs for “Delémont”. Take the exit “Basel-St. Jakob”. Always follow the signs for “Basel-St. Jakob”. After the motorway exit, you will come to a set of traffic lights. Keep to the left. Follow the signs for “St. Jakobshalle” through the subway. Turn right after the subway and you will arrive directly at the St. Jakob car park/parking garage (Brüglingerstr. 17) Basel.
from the direction of Delémont, Laufen
Motorway J18 from Delémont in direction Basel. Take the exit “Basel-St. Jakob / Muttenz-Industrie”. After the exit, you will come to a set of traffic lights. Stay in the left lane. After turning left, drive past the St. Jakobshalle Basel (left side) and St. Jakob-Park (right side). Again, stay in the left lane. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left and follow the parking signs for St. Jakobshalle Basel and you will arrive directly at the St. Jakob car park/parking garage (Brüglingerstr. 17) Basel.
from Germany/France
Motorway A5 from Karlsruhe and Freiburg. You will arrive at the border crossing Weil am Rhein. Attention: Motorway vignette compulsory. After crossing the border you will see the sign “St. Jakob”. Follow the signs for “Luzern, Bern, Zürich, Delémont, Basel-Süd/St. Jakob”. Take the motorway exit “Basel-Süd / St. Jakob”. Follow “Basel -St.Jakob” After the motorway exit you will reach a traffic light. Keep to the left. Follow the signs for “St. Jakobshalle” through the subway. Turn right after the subway and you will arrive directly at the St. Jakob car park/parking garage (Brüglingerstr. 17) Basel.
